Urgent requirement: press operator (Vermont)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press operator in Orleans County, Vermont. Requirements: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes The role involves run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; record output and downtime on the production sheet; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
