QC technician — Darlington

We are recruiting: we are hiring a QC technician in Darlington, England. Day to day you will draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data. You should have: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
