We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in Lincoln County, Georgia. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. The role involves thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. What we are looking for: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching $130 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
