CNC mill setter-operator — Bridgend county borough

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Bridgend county borough, Wales. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. You will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter. What we are looking for: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to grind and set HSS cutters At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
