Stitching operator — Bagwai

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stitching operator in Bagwai, Kano State. The role involves topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. You should have: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
