Vertical milling machine operator • Alexander County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Alexander County, Illinois. You will be based in a toolroom. You should have: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work The role involves hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
