Brick and block layer — Montgomery County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Montgomery County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge What we are looking for: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
