CNC milling operator — Monona County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Monona County, Iowa. The job is at a busy machine shop. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T The role involves set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
