Scaffolding erector — Amelia County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Amelia County, Virginia. The role involves lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class. You should have: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang Rotating shifts.
