Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Randall County, Texas. You will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
