Crane rigger — Idaho County

Now hiring: we are hiring a crane rigger in Idaho County, Idaho. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. On a typical shift you will set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; read lift plans and method statements before starting; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings. You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
