Mining dozer operator wanted in Nicholas County

Now hiring: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Nicholas County, Kentucky. You will be based on a dam or embankment job. On a typical shift you will grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction. You should have: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
