Immediate opening: power float operator (Indiana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Martin County, Indiana. You will work on a road and bridge project. What we are looking for: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Day-to-day duties: • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
