Great opportunity: we are hiring a dogger in Lake County, Oregon. You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Your main tasks: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift Full-time with occasional weekends.
