Site labourer wanted in Genesee County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a site labourer in Genesee County, New York. The job is with a civil contractor. Day to day you will erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker 5+ years on the tools preferred.
