The role involves lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level 6+ years on the tools preferred.
