Join our team: we are hiring an elevator technician in Lancaster County, Virginia. The job is on a lift modernisation project. Requirements: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces The role involves: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
