Tailor machinist — Udu

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Udu, Delta State. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. On a typical shift you will set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer ₦190,000 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
