Immediate opening: materials handling operator (Indiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a materials handling operator in Brown County, Indiana. The job is at a container loading yard. Day-to-day duties: • Pick and put away stock against pick lists and the RF scanner • Load and unload pallets from trucks and shipping containers • Position the forks square and tilt the mast to secure the load • Shrink-wrap and label palletised loads before dispatch • Charge the forklift battery or change the LPG cylinder safely • Assist with stock takes and cycle counting Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold store or chilled areas • Good awareness of load stability and health and safety • Valid forklift / FLT licence for counterbalance and reach trucks Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
