We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Fayette County, Alabama. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points Ideal candidate: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Able to read isometric and site drawings Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience.
