Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction mazdoor in Mellette County, South Dakota. Ideal candidate: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day The role involves hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
