Brick mason — Seminole County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick mason in Seminole County, Florida. You will work on a busy housing site. Your main tasks: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
