Commercial painter wanted in Coles County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a commercial painter in Coles County, Illinois. You will work on commercial fit-out projects. On a typical shift you will mix and tint paint to match colour swatches; hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams; clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job; fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day 2+ years on the tools preferred.
