Gas service engineer — Mitchell County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Mitchell County, Kansas. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. Requirements: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Driving licence for travel between sites • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration The role involves: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points Full-time, day shift.
