Requirements: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Day-to-day duties: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
