Coating plant operator — Adams County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a coating plant operator in Adams County, Illinois. You will be based at an automotive components factory. Your main tasks: • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat What we are looking for: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
