Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork erector in Douglas County, Kansas. The job is on a bridge and flyover project. Requirements: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules You will seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
