Immediate opening: we are hiring a presser in Fort Bend County, Texas. The job is in a busy laundry. On the job you will handle: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Performance bonus on top of base pay.
