Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Sherman County, Oregon. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. On the job you will handle: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
