Formwork carpenter — Sapele

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Sapele, Delta State. You will be based at a reinforced concrete building site. What we are looking for: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing The role involves read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
