Brick mason wanted in Henry County

Now hiring: we are hiring a brick mason in Henry County, Illinois. You will work on a new-build development. Your main tasks: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish You should have: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Full-time, day shift.
