Blocklayer wanted in Washington County

Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Washington County, Virginia. You will be based at a residential building site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Day-to-day duties: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation Pay around $180 per day, based on your experience.
