Escalator technician — Woodward County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an escalator technician in Woodward County, Oklahoma. You will work at a busy lift company. What we are looking for: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards The role involves: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
