Now hiring: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Buchanan County, Virginia. You will be based in lofts and crawl spaces. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Working-at-height certificate an advantage On a typical shift you will carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations.
