Garment machinist • Egbado South, Ogun State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment machinist in Egbado South, Ogun State. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. The role involves attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Six days a week, one day off.
