Cnc setter-operator — Monroe County

Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Monroe County, Kentucky. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. Your main tasks: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed What we are looking for: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg 4+ years on the tools preferred.
