Bread baker • Laurel County, Kentucky

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bread baker in Laurel County, Kentucky. On a typical shift you will check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; score the top of loaves before baking. Requirements: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
