Gas installation technician — Tsafe

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Tsafe, Zamfara State. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. Day-to-day duties: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves Ideal candidate: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
