Your main tasks: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
