Marble worker — Chenango County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a marble worker in Chenango County, New York. You will be based in a stone processing yard. You should have: • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists Day to day you will measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting; lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys; grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish; level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat; work from cutting lists and installation drawings; cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades. Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
