Argon arc welder — Lee County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Lee County, Mississippi. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. The role involves strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
