Urgent requirement: we are hiring an EHS coordinator in Whiteside County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Your main tasks: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry 6+ years on the tools preferred.
