Power float operator — Ikot Abasi

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour You should have: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
