Now hiring: we are hiring a punch press operator in Wukari, Taraba State. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. Day to day you will carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; record output and downtime on the production sheet. What we are looking for: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout 3+ years on the tools preferred.
