Great opportunity: we are hiring a hand presser in Bourbon County, Kentucky. The job is at a dry cleaner's. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings You will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; give each garment a final press before packing; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
