What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work The role involves: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
