Now hiring: rebar worker (Massachusetts)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar worker in Franklin County, Massachusetts. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Full-time, day shift.
