Immediate opening: gang bricklayer (Iowa)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Hancock County, Iowa. You will be based on a commercial construction site. You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Your main tasks: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
