Framing carpenter — Montgomery County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Montgomery County, New York. The role involves: • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Good eye for detail and a clean finish 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
