Vertical milling machine operator — Fulton County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Fulton County, Indiana. The job is at a busy machine shop. Day to day you will set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence. Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
